Looks like one of two resistors for the cooling fan, located on the firewall next to the battery.
The aluminum base must have melted away.

Thanks. I checked and that’s not it. What ever this is it is located in the engine bay somewhere.

can you be more specific in which area of the engine bay it was found?

Sorry I would if I could have but I got this car with the entire intake system taken apart. I did finally find out it is the wastegate cycling valve. A heavily burnt one I might add. Lol

Dude, good luck, you should have walked away from a burnt car. You might want to take it to a restoration shop and bite the cost bullet. If it's burnt it might be un-recognizable. There is a place that restores Classic Porsches, called Mayo Porsche in mid cities dfw, just tow it there....

I agree - definitely looks like one of the two cooling fan resistors. They are located on the firewall kind of by where the battery is if I recall. (still in the engine bay)

i don't think that's the cycle valve because the cycle valve is made of plastic and sits on top of the engine, it would be completely melted in an engine fire. the off-set electrical connection does make it resemble a CV though. here's what the cycle valve looks like:
