Engine cut out with quick throttle opening

Whenever I press the throttle quickly, trying to get to WOT the engine cuts out, meaning the car bucks and stops accelerating like the fuel has been turned off momentarily to all 4 cylinders. Or like the air/fuel isn't right.

However, if I lead the throttle and don't smash it, it can rev to redline and build boost.
  • My TPS is good, I tested that.
  • All my vacuum lines are silicone, new, and not disconnected. I ran a smoke test to confirm and no smoke appeared anywhere but out the air filter, where you would to see smoke.
  • My MAF is new

Anyone got any thoughts on what to check next?

Is this stock with stock chips and no boost enhancer?

I would have gone with a vacuum leak, but it looks like you have that sorted out.

Check your fuel pressure at the rail and see if it's low.

I have had what you describe happen on mine when it's cold, but not when the engine has warmed up.

Last item I can think of right now: What plugs are you using?

I installed a new FPR and damper to no affect. Plug, I don’t remember but they have less than 3000 miles on them.
