Found this orifice in vacuum line???
Found this small aluminum plug with a hole through it inside vacuum line to Venturi. Anybody know what this is or if it even should be there?

Sounds like an '86. Many people do a "Venturi Delete" on their cars, and Porsche removed the venturi on later cars.
Not sure if that aluminum part should be there or not, however.

Looks like a home made restricter....
I did the venturi delete long time ago, no aluminum pieces in there. Sox

i agree with sox, it looks like a home made restrictor. you should do the venturi delete.
