Question Ceramic Coating?

I've seen some people here and there get their 944 ceramic coated. Does anybody here have experience with doing this? Anything positive or negative you can share?

I have a 951 in Guards Red w/ the typical paint chips here and there and have been considering it.

Thanks.

I had it done to my car, and it was not a cheap endeavor. Requires a paint correction to be done beforehand, otherwise any impurities and swirls get trapped beneath the ceramic coating. After the coating, the car was shiny and slick. Seems to keep dust down also. However, after spending $1,200 I don't know if I would do it again. Good DIY job though if you have the time and skills.
