Custom Speaker Enclosures
 

I would like to install separets in my door panels. Does anybody know of anyplace I can get speaker enclosures that mount to the doors? Or custom enclosures that go else where in the car?

I don't know of any pre-made - you'll probably have to have custom pods made for the doors.

Hey guys, they're easier to find than you think, plus you can actually utilize 3 speakers: a tweeter, mid-range, and a woofer.
Just check my ebay auction, there's 4 days left. I have a guy in New Zealand very interested in them but I need to get a quote on shipping. No offense but I'm not too enthused about such a long distance exchange, shipping will be a PITA! Sooo, help me and yourself out!

Found your auction, it's the first time I've actually seen the 10-speaker sound system - before I'd only heard of it. What size speakers fit it?

I think it's time for a nap! I can't remember off the top of my head but the largest is pretty big, maybe a 5 1/4" or larger. I'm not near them right now but I'll take a look later.

That's cool. Are these factory? Are where they custom made?

Turbodt88, those are actually factory - a 10-speaker sound system was an option for a bit.

'88 Turbo S/ '89 turbo, and S2's, I haven't checked the dimensions, interested?

So it would fit my 86 944 turbo?

Yup, just switch your door panels with those. I think that they originally came with an amp and a crossover. You would maybe need to add those yourself when you threw in some speakers
