Glass sunroof?
My 951 currently has a body-colored sunroof on it. I've seen pictures of a few 944/951s with a glass sunroof and I think that may be the direction I want to go in.
Does anybody know where I can get one? |

The Saratoga Company discontinued manufacturing of their glass sunroofs. You may see them come up on Ebay once in a while. Here is the latest example:

My 944 had a Saratoga top included but no hardware on it!
Saratoga, like so many companies, exists, but they have restructured and haven't made sunroofs for a long time. They were not helpful about where I might find hardware. I was hoping for maybe even a picture or two so I could fabricate something. If anyone has any ideas, they'd be appreciated.

the one that is selling on the 968 forum is the same thing from JC Whitney for $189. Its all manual, gets rid of the stock electric, i wouldnt do it...but if all you want is the glass part and dont care about doing it manually then its a damn good deal....

Lawrence, yes it does.
I think I first logged on to a hunting forum and had to create a name. I needed something I could remember and used my favorite elk cartridge. Current .338 is a BAR. Great rifle. But I've been blackpowder hunting with a .54cal Thompson Center to get out in a better season. I've been online since way before the internet, but never did much posting. Things certainly have changed and I basically use the same name wherever I go so I can remember it!
