Just bought Guru Chips

Finally, got everything dissasembled on the head gasket and oil seal cooler replacement and during the process I broke that darn cv-cycling valve, so I had to buy the chips.

Now I am waiting for the Chips and I can't wait anymore and I only ordered it two days ago. The funny part is I am still a couple of weeks away from being able to even get the engine running again.

I am definately going to need to get help installing the reliaboost and shims, so I hope you guys are ready to help me out.

Stay on top of Danno.... so you get it in 2 weeks. He gets busy and I want you to get yours quick.

Its all pretty straight forward and I think you will really enjoy the set when you get it....

you got guru, ae? How do you like it? Noticable difference? I'm considering getting the chips and the map, and the next size injectors. Worth the $$?

My buddy with an 88 turbo S has MAP Stage 1.

He dynoed 260rwhp and 300lbft at 16 psi on the stock 26/8 about a month ago.

I think you have to decide what you want as the end result..... power = $ and trust me one modifications leads to a cascade of MANY!

Danno makes great products but all I can say stay on top of him. He sometimes takes on more than he can chew.

At least you live in California and I am sure he would not want you !!! knocking at his door....!

(I have seen pictures of you)

P.S.

I run Vitesse Stage 2..... with a slight power increase.

How do you like that stage 2 anyway? I'm installing it on a "customer" car (waiting on some parts), anything I should be aware of? Did it require a new temp sensor, etc.?

I really like it. Its a nice kick in the pants. The car should be back from body work and then I am taking her to get dynoed.....

I did order a new temp sensor to have on hand (bought from Myswiss).... that has a wire lead that comes from the top. Thus giving you lots of clearance, but the old sensor worked fine.

The usual B.S with fitting larger turbos.... grinding the turbo, not much room for the maf pipe, bending the coolant pipe etc..... All the usual fun.

SMT6 is a pretty nice little toy. I feel like one of those ricers tuning with my laptop as I drive........... hehehehe all I need now is some underglow.

Yeah, let me/us know when you're done tuning/dynoing...

I should have his car on a dyno by next weekend.
