Porsche Crest Distributer rotor Glue

I found that my diesel sound was that my cheese head screw that holds the rotor carrier/ camshaft mount had backed off and let the rotor spin off center, trashing it, also the camshaft mount looks like it got screwed up to, both have been ordered,

My question is what type of glue do I use to mount the new rotor to the mount and any recommendations for a bolt lock type material so I don’t have to worry about the cheese head bolt coming lose again.

3rd anyone know what torque setting to tighten the cheese head bolt?

Thanks a million

Larry

I use it on the screw, and a small drop on the shaft of the rotor. And yes this is heat resistant, but remember there is not alot of heat in that area of the engine anyhow

thanks for the help and specs i ordered the part from auto atlanta but they never sent it after saying they had it, so after a week i told them to pound sand...

so i guess its retail time and to the local porsche dealer, cause that part is hard to find aftermarket

thanks again
