New to 944T, some random help ?'s

Brand new to 944T and looking for some help. First looking for advice on the common bolt on upgrades. Any advice on good priced, good performeing upgrades such as exhaust systems, intakes, blow-off valves, stuff like that. Also anywhere to find a dual exhaust system for the 944T. and somer help on where to find good boost controalers and some other simple upgrades. ALso, i bought a set of 17's chrome porsche rims, and looking for advice on the tire size and what ill need to do to get the wheels on. Its the 1987 944 Turbo with 88K i got for 5K, and im 20 years old, dont be to jealious to help.

Chips give the best bang for the buck.

I've never seen one with dual exhausts. You'd spend a great deal of money gaining nothing.

I don't think anyone here is (too) jealous of your spelling, sentence structure, grammar, and punctuation.

WELCONE ABOARD....Believe me jealousey(sp) is something you won't find much of here..Lots of help and good advice, plenty of flames for the hard heads !!!

As for tire side waht rim width and offset are you looking to use?? makes a big difference in tire sizing. coule be 205 or 245-45-17 rear on an 7-8 in rim to 265-40-17 on a 9 in rim.

Never see dual exaust system as of yet. Not saying for the right money it can't be done the biggest obsticle is the location of the gas tank. Dont think there would be any performance gain.

Chips are the best bet and an easier mod to start with. reserch past post.

Sorry, i was drunk when i wrote the post. But can i get some names of companys that make good 3" exhaust systems and good intake systems, i really dont know where to look. And id like to keep 225 on the rims but it has the stock 16" wheels on now, and im not sure of how low of a profile im gonna need to fit them on the car.

Again as far any wheel size goes we are going to need to know how wide the 17 rims are you are using...if you have a current 16x8 225-50-16, a one plus set up to 17 = 245-45-17, i have 17x9 antera with 265-40-17 fits with no problem.

try B&B and "bosal" for exaust.

Do yourself a favor, Search through our host web site " pelican parts" for upgrades. Grab a copy of "excellence" mag. fram a local new stand.

PS....If this is a new purchace, do you have the maint records or did you get a PPI. May want to make sure the maint is up to date before adding a few $$$ to a possible time bomb !!! these cars without maint. aren"t fun on the walet.
