banjo bolt hose needed

i need the hose assembly that is connected to the banjo bolt on a 951. i only need the hose part (it has a metal banjo washer on one end, and rubber hose on the other end).

it's the short hose piece that's between the black air intake (intercooler pipe) and the blue/red piece in the photo here;

does anyone know where i can get one of these? if so, email me at;
nize2 at msn.com

The fitting on the banjo bolt looks to be standard. Why not just get a piece of fabric covered standard hose and put on with a clamp like what is done at the other end. Stuff is sold by the foot at any Mercedes or Porsche dealer - probably others also. There doesn't seem to be anything special about that hose other than yours happens to be crimped at one end making it expensive.

i actually need the hose including the crimped end with the washer that connects to the bolt.

the crimped part seems to be proprietary to porsche. anyone know if you can get that elsewhere?

Mine does not have a crimped end. It is just a nipple on the part that the bolt goes through onto which you slip the hose. Mine has always been clamped since I bought the car used 8 years ago. When you say washer do you mean the thing the bolt goes through? It is a standard part. PartsHeaven surely would have one.

yes, i mean the thing that the bolt goes through. it seems that part is permanantly attached to the rubber hose, so you can't just replace the rubber part. the rubber is showing signs of age and starting to crack is why i'm looking to replace this.

anybody know the part number? i can't seem to find it anywhere.

The hose is crimped on. Simply slice the crimp and the hose will come off. The crimp is simply a thimble looking piece of metal with a different size hole at each end. It slips over the end of the hose that slips over the fitting. It is put in some sort of press and squeezed. It makes a nice looking piece but there is nothing permanent about it.

You can easily remove it. A Dremel tool or a grinding wheel or a cut off disk would remove it. Just dont go so deep as to cut into the metal nipple on the banjo.

Why not just grind the collar off of the barb on the banjo bolt and use a peice of fuel line and a hose clamp?

Good job. Just for anyone's FYI, Lindsey lists the banjo bolt, banjo fitting (what the hose is attached to) and crush washers on their site. I'm not sure if Pelican has them listed here.

cool thanks. can you post a link to that? i can't seem to find it on the lindseyracing.com site. i was unable to find it anywhere on pelican either, and the dealer doesn't sell that part, they force you to buy the whole assembly including the metal pipes all the way to the wastegate!

edit; i found it, but i'm not sure if it's for the 951. can anyone clarify? link is here;
