Red face Another steering fluid leak question

Okay, sorry about this topic again... i know it's been talked about forever but...
I purchased my 951 about 3 1/2 months ago. Everythings been fine except the other day I saw a small puddle of fluid under the car. It was on the passenger side just next to the wheel where there are three tubes/hoses right next to the wheel liner. It's a brownish fluid that looks like the same fluid in the steering fluid resivoir... it does not smell like oil so I'm assuming thats not oil but rather steerign fluid. Anyway, i've done my research and need some advise/reasurance. It doesn't seem like the fluid is leaking from the resivor. It looks to be leaking lower towards the bottom of the engine. Are there any clamps etc that would be located down there for me to check? Any insite would be a preciated.
Thanks

Power steering fluid is red (ATF). not brownish. After saying that it could be power steering fluid that somebody put in there and shouldn't have.

Thanks for the response...
The fluid in the power steering resivoir is definitly a dark brown color...
Do I need to drain it and fill it with the red (ATF)? Does the AFT red turn dirty/brown after time? I hope that whatever is in there does not wreck anything. The substance on the garage floor definitly matches the same substance in the power steering resivoir... I'm kind of confused now.

If it is old, and parts are worn it will go a to a brown shade.
pressure wash all the affected aeras, change the fluid and wait for the
leaks to appear, then fix. Just had to replace a few hoses and a
pump kit on my 951, it was not to expensive even having it done by
my mechanic, looking at it I think it would be an easy DIY project
I just dont have the time.
safe repairs,
Russell
