Car jacking
I am very concerned about damaging my 86 944 turbo by improperly jacking the car up. I see the jacking points outlined in the owner manual. However, none of those are conducive to getting the entire car up on four jack stands. What is the recommended jacking locations/procedure to achieve this? Can you really not jack up the front using the front end cross member? What about using the trans-axle for the rear like you would on a domestic?

You can use the jack point below the door to jack up both the front and rear of one side at the same time (Pelican sells an adapter for a floor jack that fits in the middle jack point) and then you can put jack stands under the front and rear jack points on that side. Then repeat the process on the other side of the car.

Ok, if thats how its done. It just seems ackward to jack the car up from each side. I guess the ideal way to do this is do have a lift and raise the whole car at once!
Thanks
