Porsche Crest First Post

Hi all folks .. this is my first post here, off course I'm a new happy ( very very happy ) 951 owner. Well Basic this is my car

Some Little things that I can do from last ( first ) week are

235/45R17 front and 275/40R17 rear. Straight exhaust pipe and K&K air filter. New Pressure Plate fork and disk, with 49k miles on the Odo.

Yesterday replace some door rubber seals and awaiting other from pelicans.

But well in the roof it has some little taps ( buttons ) to cover screws .. where I can found this little things ..?

thanks in advance ..

Silver rose car? I'm jealous...

The turbo-S is a blast to drive, you're going to have fun with that.

Out of curiosity and a little offtopic, do you use a dvorak keyboard? "Yeal" is a tough typo to make on qwerty...(yes, I admit it, I'm a big computer nerd).

with much pain, I'm thought no .. I was check the VIN and the letter that describe the year appears its 86 - 87 I'm not totally sure.

I need to check the turbo ( thanks for your advice about K26/6 - 8 in the Clark's site ) to be sure about the model.

the vin number should be accurate about the year of manufacture. you should be able to find it in three places in the engine bay (one sticker on each side, and one place stamped into the metal in front of the battery), on a stamped metal tab on the driver's a-pillar, on a sticker on the inside edge of the door jam (both driver and passenger), and on a sticker in the spare tire compartment.

you might also be able to tell the year by inspecting the top of the front shock towers if it hasn't been modified.

in the rear photo of your car, the '944' decal does not belong there. the 'porsche' logo also does not appear stock.

the steering wheel is obviously aftermarket.

that vin number belongs to an 86 turbo. anatomy of the vin here;
http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Pit/4786/VINAnat.html

note that there was no 'I' model year, they skip the letter i because it looks like the number 1.

the rear porsche logo (it's probably a sticker) is not stock. it looks like it belongs on a license plate frame or something.

vin numbers don't lie.

there are variations on the oil cooler, it appears to have been present in various models, and some 88 models with LSD doesn't even have them.
