Post Who wants a rare 951?

I can tell you it has been for sale for ever...Well for a long time anyways...Seems no one wants to take the plunge...I should go there and take that baby for a little test drive...What could go wrong...

Holy crap! Those things usually trade for around $45K USD. at $33K USD I'd buy it in a heart beat if I didn't already have two racecars at my house.

Somebody snatch this one up it is a really good find.

The special parts alone are worth 33 grand, Magnesium intake manifold, bilstein shocks $ struts, 405 lb progressive springs, Turbo cup sway bars, Magnesium/aluminim wheels, al kinds of good stuff.

About the weight:
I own one of these cars, which was raced in the french series.
No power steering, no central locking, no sound deadening, no underbody seal, no alarm, no radio, no electric windows, 1 bucket seat and 1 manual seat, no rear seatbacks, no remote hatch opener, no cruise, electric torch simplified to the minimum, magnesium rims, no A/C, no electric mirrors. Aramid honeycomb composite hood, with two licking pins (no cable there).
That brings it to 2500-2600 Lbs.
On mine, I'm going further by putting a polycarbonate rear hatch and simpler door panels

How much do the magnesium wheels weigh? What size are they? How much $$ do they go for when sold typically? I'd figure they're extremely difficult to find...

I haven't been able to find a web page with good 944 turbo cup info...Link would be much appreciated.

thanks,
Adrial
