Front strut replacements
The stock ('86 951) setup has the top of the strut crimped to retain the strut insert. Koni makes a replacement for the crimped type. Has anyone used these or are the whole strut assemblies usually replaced. The inserts are about half the cost of complete replacements.

I used the adjustable konis. Got them from Summit, spent an evening installing. If you own a hacksaw and a drill its fairly simple. Just make sure to understand marking the eccentric bolt and you probably wont need an alignment, although I got one anyway.

Should have them early next week. Hopefully, it'll be fairly painless install.
