Before i break out a voltmeter

Curious what everyone else is getting on the dash volt meter guage. im getting EXACTLY 12 volts... with the headlights and foglights running. if i turn on the fans inside the car and turn on the rear window defogger, it drops below 12 volts, not by much though . it does seem to rise a little as the tach rises but not much over the 12. Are these pretty accurate?

Im going to hook up a volt meter at the battery and see what its getting at idle and then what it gets as it rises off idle

mine is totally whacky. it jumps all over the place and gets stuck pegged at the top. i used my voltmeter to verify the alternator and it was fine. i don't have problems with other gauges in the car, just that one.

I get 13 to 14 V on it if the car has been sitting. It drops to 12 plus after a while. If I turn on the AC, lights, and rear defog then it drops to about 12 V but never below.

Mine sits at about 13.5 with no accessories on but gets close to 14 when the car is first started. With AC (blower) and headlights on, it reads about 12.5V.
