bradatech bluebox: for the EMS gearheads

this is an interesting product that lets you add bluetooth datalogging abilities to your system. this could be a cool way for russell to get bluetooth support on the maxhp kit for relatively cheap, and i'm sure the megasquirt guys would be interested as well.

sox; do you think you could figure out a way to connect this to the stock system for some cool datalogging?

Nize,
Yah either pick four fixed channels or maybe mux(multiplex) more for a bit slower scan time. Needs to have a set of buffers to bump the voltages up or down to meet the input requirement. Pick the sensors/input you want to monitor and when done switch to new ones. No prob....My question would be :
Why not convert the channels to a serial stream xmit it with a wireless print server type of device and receive to your laptop palm etc.? Then you could have a lot of Channels.
But to your orignal question Yup could be done.

Bluetooth connectivity has already been done with MS. You just need a bluetooth -DB9 convertor and to wire some power to the DB9 connector.

VERY COOL! I like it.

The Maxtronic is Bluetooth capable, I have just not opted to offer that add-on. I haven't used it, and until I used/tested it I wouldn't market it. Usb is good enough for tuning, I would hate to think what might happen with a messed up bluetooth module on a device that controls your engine, not just monitors it.

This thing is too cool though, I'll have to check it out.

PM coming at you nize...

Russell
