oil pressure at last......

Well thanks to everyone for all the tips on getting my oil pressure back up.
Here is what I did....
Primed the oil pump, poured oil in the side holes of the oil filter mount.
squirted oil in the oprv hole and turned motor over backwards. (goes directly to oil pump)
Installed a new oil pressure relief valve. Yes $300.00 it was worth it.
Installed a new Mahle oil filter
Topped off the oil level to top line on dipstick
spun it over no plugs or DME relay, pressurized oil dipstick to about 10-20 psi gently. Wow it pegged the gauge!!
Put in the plugs and DME relay.
Ran the car gauge still pegged!! and it runs great, idle at 1000-1100rpms

Oh ya I will be driving it soon!!!

Thanks everyone!!

Congratulations. It's always a good feeling to solve a problem on these cars and we all know they have their oddities.

I sure appreciate the support. I feel like I know this car in and out.
I will never know if it was the oprv or just priming the pump correctly.
Just need to finish the steeering rack install now...
Pictures and update to follow.
I will be happy to help anyone else with a rebuild or repairs.
