Guru chips, 88 DME in an 86 951.
I'm wondering if anyone might have an answer, as I'm sure Danno is probably hard to get a hold of.
Somewhere in my car's life it received an '88+ DME, so I have the 28 pin eprom. In reading the Guru instruction(http://members.rennlist.com/jerseyshore944/GURU-ChipKitInstallation.pdf), for the '88 DME there are ignition maps available by using the IA and RCP plugs. However, my '86 harness does not have the IA, it has the RCP plug but no IA in the harness. My question is this... Since my car has the altitude-compensator(according to instructions), which is what is replaced by the IA, is the chip set going to read as though the IA is plugged in? Any thoughts or suggestions(aside from a new DME harness)? Don't worry about it?

Thank you sir. It seems to be fine with it.
Eventually I'll use your chips, most likely, but I want to install some goodies before ordering a nice set of custom chips.
