Angry Timing/balance belt goof up

In the process of doing the timing/balance belts, I may have had happy hour during the process, just saying....
Any way I did the big no no, and swapped the 2 tension pulleys. They look a like, but are in fact mirror imaged. Put it all back together, and started the car, belt scream. Second mistake, I assumed it was the Ac/alternator drive belt bearing that belt may have been too tight. So I let the car run and screwed around with loosing the drive belt, no joy.
Long story short, had to re open everything and sure enough the belts were running too far towards the rear cover and dragging. Took them of, the timing belt looked ok but the the balance belt showed fraying.
Had to order new ones
In the mean time I set up the car to run without front belt cover and air box so I could see what was happening, put the belts back in and ran them. All good no drag, no scream.
Moral of the story, no matter how many times you have done something... "pay attention you dumb A**".
BTW I got tired of trying to hold the sprockets with needle nose/or other improvised means so I made the 'expensive Porsche tool'.
Sox

Put the lower cover on ASAP, or you can get a rock up there and mess with your belts.... ask me how I know...

Keith the car is not being driven, I just got enough of it together to test the belts alignment.
Notice in the pics it does not have the air box and filter on either.
Thx Sox
