clutch pedal issues

ok so now i have replaced my clutch master and rebuilt my slave. i have bled the system. 10hours of bleeding with the mity-vac. The problem i have now is that my pedal will not return to the full out position by its self i have to pull it from the helper spring. so it comes almost all the way oput but just not the last little bit. and the weird part is when its cold work as its supposed to when it gets warm (by driving around) it doest work right. i have great pedal feel. i have great engagement. the pedal just doesn't want to come back all the way. Now i have adjusted the master cylinder rod to within Porsche specs. that helped a lot. but did not fix the problem. I am now wondering is there still air in the system? I have run over a liter through the system about 10-15times. and i have never let the level get low. i have the back of the car so high in the air that the front is about 1-2 cm from touching the ground (with out me in it). I have read all the directions and done them. i even bench bled the slave and master. what now could it be? the helper spring? bad clutch parts ( it make some noise when disengaged)? my wife is at wits end now she doesn't want to keep pouring fluid into it and watching it anymore.

Do you know anyone with a Motive pressure bleeder? I've never had any luck with a MityVac after replacing components. The Motive will have you on the road in 5 minutes.

do you think it is a bleeding issue? could i still have air left in the system?

I'm probably off base but I think jacking up the rear end of the car like can cause a trapped bubble in the MC if using conventional manual or vacuum bleeding. I never raise the rear of the car myself. When I've used the Motive, I pressurize the can to 12 psi, press the clutch pedal about 1/4 way down and crack the slave bleeder. This seems to rid the MC of any trapped air very well. I would say you have still trapped air if you have bled it for that long. Another method someone else once suggested after having the same issue as you was to disconnect the slave, remove the reservoir cap, depress the slave rod all the way in, then release it slowly, repeat and watch the fluid level (do not depress the clutch pedal when the slave is disconnected from the bellhousing whatever you do). I've never tried this method because the Motive has always worked so well for me.

see this is what is bugging me is I have disconnected the slave and that is how i bled it using the push rod. i read that one . and the master was done too. I have followed all the instructions and it is still not good. now one thing i did find out though is the Porsche repair manuals say to use a power bleeder much like what you are talking about (motive). i think that is the only way it will truly work.

ok so here is an update: I have not rebled the system. It is working allmost as it should, just needs another adjustment.
Reason why I think it is working correctly now: 1) i think a PO had rebuilt the slave before but did it incorectly. As in revercing the boot on it so that it was on the out side and not inside the slave.
2) The boot was gone when i removed the slave. I think it may have been jammed into the release.
3) the boot became disloged and fell out now the clutch pedal is working as it is supposed to.
