Help, 924 turbo nose panel to 944 turbo

Sorry I am not familiar with the 924 turbo at all, so I am doing a conversion on my NA 944 and putting a 951 front end on it ( 951 bumper cover, under bumper, quarter panels, the works) which brings me to the question, I found a 924 turbo nose panel (with the air vents cut into it) will this fit on my 944 with the turbo front bumper?

924 nose piece on 944 turbo bumper?

All I can say is that I've seen it done, but I'm really not sure if the 924 panel is shaped correctly.

What year is your 944? I have an '83 I'm doing the 951 front end on, and in order to bolt on the header it will need the structure that the header bolts to re-shaped slightly(stock '83 header was welded on).

the 924 turbo nose piece is rounder then the NA 944 nose piece, but im not sure if its round enough to match the 944 turbo bumper... thanks for the advice!

The 924 turbo panel does NOT match a 944 turbo

It shouldn't be rounder. The header panel from the 931 should match a 944 header panel. It won't match the 951 parts though.

Because my 944 is just a nice all arround car to drive, the big bucks I am throwing down has been going to my Firebird.

Many people just cut out the four vent area as a unit, cut an opening in a 951 panel, and weld it up, prep it for paint, and finish it. It's much easier than trying to get it to fit right.
