? about wastegate spring rates
I searched "wastegate springs", didn't find my answer.
I am looking to purchase a tial 38mm wastegate kit. Am I understanding this correctly, that if I get one with a 1 bar spring that I won't be able to operate the car at less than 1 bar of boost (14.7 +/- psi)? Thanks in advance...

yes. ideally, you should get a .7bar spring to be safe and run the wastegate in dualport mode.
it's good you asked this question. a lot of people misunderstand and get a 1bar spring, which removes the failsafe ability of the wastegate.

Thanks! I wanted to make sure I was understanding that correctly before ordering.
