A few project pictures
This is a 951 I picked up in the fall from a local PCA member. He imported it from Japan but never registered it for the road. I've taken care of all that, I was able to drive it a couple of times before the snow hit this winter. Since then I've been going through and catching up on some maintenance things. I had the belts and water pump replaced in the late fall. I've replaced all the cooling hoses, radiator, thermostat, fan switch, vacuum lines, cap, rotor, temp sensor on turbo, did the venturi delete, stripped the dead AC out. I'm about to drop the oil pan and replace the seal, as I put it back together I've got a manual steering setup to go in (thanks 944online), and also replacement intake hoses, boot, IC rubber connectors, lindsey fuel lines, plugs and oil filter. Last thing left to buy is shocks, going to do Konis all round.

It says "944", its an aftermarket badge.
The previous, previous owner in Japan must have been obsessed with proving he drove a Porsche. On the other side there is a Porsche emblem decal, and another Porsche decal on the rear. Plus the "Turbo" emblem on the back is in gold. Yikes.

Left hand drive, which I've also heard adds to the bling factor in Japan. Sort of like the tuner guys over here running right hand drive JDM stuff.
