Rear window quarter metal trim removal
Does it just gently pull out & press back in...like the rear trim in a 928? Any special notes to consider?
Thanks!! Mark

Easiest way is to remove the quater window by pushing with the palm of your hand from the inside. Once it is out, you can remove that metal piece easily. It is not held in by anything significant.
Heck, you can remove it while the window is still on the car; you just won't be able to put it back in until you remove the window ![]() Get ready to "Rope" your window back in if you go this route - it actually is not that hard to do.... Good luck, Keith

So, there's no way to put the trim back in with the seal in it's pressed in position? The whole window needs to come out just to restore the trim??

That blows. Oh well, I guess I'll buy some nice rear speakers & upgrade them once I'm in there.
It's a 4x6 & a separate tweeter on the Turbo S correct??

No.
I am about to post to that other thread with some of the details. I now have all of the stock speakers, frames and even one of the door panels from a 10 speaker car, and I will be posting pictures and dimensions. Look for it later on today. You are looking at a ~5-1/4" rear speaker, with a crossover that feeds the tweeter in the grill. Keith
