runs fine until boost starts

Hi my 89'951 runs fine until the boost guage hits the 1 bar mark , then it is like it has swallowed a sock, I have checked the vacume lines and they appear ok.
any tips.

you probably have a big leak somewhere in the intake plumbing.

You should check the full car from a mechanic. I believe that he will solve your problem.

I know what happened!

The sock used to run the Alternator, A/C and PS must have fallen off and landed in the turbocharger

That would explain things....

Problem found, loose connection between turbo & intercooler.
