thanks so much for that polite and to the point response. Why on earth would I read my own post and the responses? Geezzz
I don't think anybody mentioned the differences between a sachs 930 clutch disc and the aftermarket one via the site I was looking at.
Again, as always I can count on this site for great insight and quick responses.

You will have to compare the materials the disk is made from inorder to get a good idea. How to compare? GOOGLE. I researched the type of materials they use on the disk. But for my specific disks that i looked at. There are a few materials that disk are made of.

http://www.uucmotorwerks.com/CLUTCH/ Check this out it will answer your questions. I chose one with a mixture of orgainc and sintered iron

okay. I was looking the non sachs version at Zims of the 930 clutch disc. Problem is they don;t seem to know much about the make up of the disc. very new to them. Warranty is the same but that does me no good if it does not last and i have to tear it apart again ( I hate doing these clutches). Price is right (140 below sachs). The amount of mileage i put on this car is minimal but would like to know i can get it to last.

Carlege, I would be very interested on that write up as I have been looking at the exact same disc but have been a little leary. Let me know how things go as I am in the market for a disc.
