Check for a vacuum leak. There is a good chance air is getting in where it shouldn't.

Mine pegs all the time when engine is above idle speed. When cold it pegs even at idle speed.

Mine idols high as well. Its probably my throttle position sensor. I know that it is electronically related because it is erratic in nature. She idols fine at initial cold start-up. (900 rpm). After she gets warm however, on occation the revs will come down real slowly. Then all of a sudden, something "clicks" and she goes tame rpms fall and all is well.

Lemme know what choo find out.

Rick

You should hear a click from your TPS just as your throttle completely closes. You will need to test this with the engine off so you can easily hear it.

Yeah, it had to do with the tps, I didn't remember I had out my intake in the parts cleaner and had removed it I adjusted it and low idle now, but it's erotic, it just up to 1-2 constantly.

The thought of an erotic idle really turns me on!

Sorry. Couldn't help myself...

840 +/- 40 RPM is the appropriate idle speed for 951s. (Ref: Clarks Garage)
