38mm Tial and LR 3" Exhaust
This past weekend I attempted to replace both the exhaust and wastegate with some new pieces. Everything came apart okay (after about 2 cans of WD-40), but I can't figure out how to fit the new wastegate in. I assumed since I have the 2 piece crossover this installation should have been a breeze, but I just can't get everything lined up properly.
After installing the new 3" exhaust it looks like the dump tube on the wastegate outlet is too long. Is this a common problem with the LR exhaust? Anyone have some pictures of how it should/can fit?

yep, I have the same setup and had to cut my stock wastegate dump tube (shorter) to fit in the LR exhaust. BUT i did install the wastegate after I did the exhaust(which was still the stock wastegate)

Yeah, the install of the Tial is not very exciting, a couple of pretty hard to get to bolts. Leave everything real loose, until you have all your bolts in. You will need to twist the Tial around a little bit to get it to sit correctly and not hit the torque tube. It'll be a tight fit, but it does fit. Still nervous about not using that factory bracket the stock wastegate used that wrapped around the torque tube for support. Seems pretty heavy duty, to be ok without using it.
