Porsche Timeline
Well yesterday was the test drive after the reference and speed sensor job, the NTCII job, the clutch job, the TPS job and the DME and KLR job...started as a "no start" and clutch job, but replaced marginal parts as well.
Anyway, after working until 1am Saturday morning, and getting up at 4:30am to fill the cooling system and clean the car, it was off to the fun drive up the mountain to Lake Arrowhead, and enter the beast in the Porsche Timeline. It was a beautiful fall Saturday in Southern California, clear, sunny and temps in the high 80's.....here she is (along with a few of the other Timeline participants). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for the deal on the DME and KLR Pauerman!!!!!!!

It's good to know that you got it running again with the DME and KLR! That was a lot of work and a long day but it appears to have been well worth it.
Nice pics, too.

Actually the whole process was started back in July, with the clutch and the original no start. But in the process of changing the clutch, I found numerous wires (both grounds and powered) with cracked insulation, chaffing and corrosion, so they need to be carefully pulled from the harness and replaced, sections of the harness covering needed to be repaired, and in general just a good look over and cleaning of many of the places we normally don't get to.
I finally got back to the original no start problem a little over a week ago, but in the end, it was all well worth the effort....she ran like a striped-a$$ ape both up and down the mountain. Though I must admit, I really would have liked to have had a day or so of testing before the trip.

Phil,
Great to hear that the DME / KLR boxes fixed your starting problem and sorry about the confusion at the airport! Great pictures - thanks for sharing!
