disconnecting fuel line from fuel damper

Before I can reseal the injectors I need to pull the fuel rail, but for some reason I cant loosen the fuel line nut at the fuel damper. I use one wrench to hold the large nut and another to push the fuel line nut towards the manifold (standing on side of right fender) but it wont move. Im afraid of using too much force and mess something up.
I'm pretty sure these fuel lines have never been touched so I dont think it is cross threaded.
What's wrong.........

thanks

Yea, I just did this the other and it was a major PITA. You are most likely doing it properly because the nut is VERY snug on the rail. Just work it carefully and it will eventually come loose.

I just removed mine and it was also snug As barrelroll suggested. Just use the two wrenches and you should get it to budge. You can also do the "waking up" think on the nut as suggested in Clark's Garage.

OK, thanks,
letting it soak in penetrating oil and liquid wrench and will tap on it when I try again.
Now noticed the jumper hose to the damper has little cracks in it, so looking for a deal on that and they aint cheap.

thanks

ok, after soaking. I gave it a quick snap and it came loose. looks like i might have to get a new jumper hose to the damper, small cracks and it sqeezes kind of flat, $$$
Do you put teflon or something on the threads when replacing.

thanks
