Well, that's like 3X the cost of the stock (plastic) Bosch unit that it is supposed to be a direct replacement for. So I would have to assume that it is better. Out of curiosity, what does the racing unit go for?

Just because it is more expensive, doesn't mean it will be better. Many have used the LR piece without issues. Also look into Forge if you aren't wanting to replace it with stock. The LR unit is $128. (I'm not 100% sure, but the LR may be a Forge piece)

LR sells a champion motorsports diverter valve. I believe that champions DV is actually a forge valve. The LR valve is much better and is made of metal! It contains different metal springs to adjust it instead of made of plastic with a rubber diaphragm which can wear out or crack easily.

I've got a Lindsey one, mine is a Forge piece, very happy with it so far.

I sell a billet recirculating valve made by MODE Engineering. It is their design that the Forge units are modelled after. This is a factory replacement piece and it includes a removable 90 degree elbow piece (not in picture) that allows the vacuum hose of attach from the side.

How much are they?

I did some research on this subject a while back

and decided to go with the Bosche '110 BOV. It is an upgraded version of the OEM valve and doesn't have problems of sticking pistons like the billet ones have, and doesn't need periodic maintenance (grease) like they do. Was quite a bit cheaper too.
