Anyone have a cylinder head handy to check something?

If someone has a cylinder head handy, would you take a look at something for me? I'd like to know whether the alignment dowel holes in the head are perfectly uniform all the way down, or whether there is a ridge built into the hole part way down? Mine has a ridge, which I believe is just created by friction from the dowel, but before I drill it out I want to make sure Porsche didn't put it there on purpose? Thanks!

if it fits, why would you want to drill it out?

Leave it in there. It's either a stop for the pin or something designed to keep the pin from moving.
