Can Lindsey Boost Enhancers Fail?

Does the LBE fail, if so how would you know, what would happen? Does it need to be maintained? Is there a way to test if it is working?

Thanks.

Can't see how it can fail, if I'm not mistaken, it's basically a hollow tube with an adjustable pressure restricter inside. Does not require any maintenance. May be possible that the nylon poppet or the nitrile seal goes bad. Call Lindsey and talk to Dave

if it fails it could make your car will work as it did before you had it. Basically you can adjust it to show higher boost and that would prove its still working. the normal boost setting is the thickness of 4 pennies.

Mine was missing the spring (blame the PO). Emailed D. Lindsey for a replacement spring but no reply (yet... it's been almost a week). Was allowing 'unlimited' boost (20+psi), couldn't blow through it.
