electrical drain

Battery goes dead overnight. many symptoms. Radiator fan runs, but the oil pressure gauge spikes and remains pinned while key turned, and while engine running. This one causes concern. What would cause that?

if the oil pressure sender wiring is on backwards it will peg the pressure gauge.

as for the drain, could be a lot of things. i have one i am chasing. it takes a few days for it to drain my battery.

i've read that the clocks will drain batteries. the turbo pump. a fan keeps running at low speed. it could be a light that is left on inside the glove box or in the trunk.
