Water in my intercooler!

Hi guys. So a couple of weeks ago the car would run really bad (lose power) at low and high throttle use. So i went exploring and found that there was a good deal of moisture (almost puddled water) in the inlet and outlet to the inter-cooler. So, i let it dry out thinking it was just a bad air filter. I haven't had any problems till today when it started doing the same thing.
Any thoughts on what it could be?
Thanks.

Your turbo's dying? It is a wet turbo so maybe a hairline crack in the housing?

I would check your hoses attached to your J-boot and see if you can find a source for the moisture as well.

Good luck, Keith

Is it water or coolant?

Agreed with Keith.

So I was able to get a little out and found that its gas! Or, at least mostly gas. Any thoughts?

if so then you have a bad fuel damper or regulator, & gas is traveling through the vacuum system. Heard of it before but not seen it. Pull vacuum line at both & see if there's gas in it.

Mark.

It happened to me, so it's a very real possibility. Check for gas smell in vacuum lines at the FPR and Damper, even if you don't see liquid.

Normal vacuum line smell/taste is oily, not fuel FYI.

+1 - I had a bad fuel damper and gas travelled all over the vacuum lines in a past 951. Check the boost line to the klr under the passenger floor board . Mine was full.
