Question Autothority stage II banjo question ??

Hi all,
I just went back to a single port WG with a manual (ball spring) boost controller and have not driven the car yet. The car has had APE chips in it for a long time but I just noticed that I have not had the banjo bolt with the restrictor orfice installed. Is there any reason to reinstall that orfice banjo ? Do you even need that with a MBC? I just can't remember its been so long but that APE banjo bolt was part of a kit designed to give you 48 hp gain with the chips on a stock car correct ? Just don't feel like doing any overboosting. Let me know thanks for the help.

The restrictor in the banjo bolt is meant to delay the boost signal to the cycling valve, allowing for a little quicker boost and higher boost.

Since you have a MBC and have deleted the cycling valve the restrictor is not needed.

Cheers, Keith
