HELP PLEASE.....86 944 turbo problem
Ok my dad is a 25 year porsche man, and well we cant figure this out. I have a 86 944 turbo and out of the blue the car started idling funny(stalling), yet some days it runs fine. We smoked the car and found an attitude hose leek and also oil around TPS. Also did a fuel pressure test and the car was fine. Car ran great that same day,but when i turned it off and on the car no longer turned on. We checked the injecters they have spark,bypassed the relay and fuel pump works and turned the car on and the car worked. we swicted 3 good dme relays and none worked. my dad grouned the dme relay seperate and the car now runs in a mickey mouse And if i idle or rev the too high the car will run horrible but still goes and sometimes just ends up shutting off on me ???? right now the dme relay is ground to the car and if idled too high in any situation the car stalls? whats wrong PLEASE any input.
