WTF? When did this turn into the classifieds?

For sale posts out to be in the for sale forums. This is a technical forum!

kdjones2000 06-16-2012 08:03 AM

I was thinking the same thing...

I dont mind the occasional FS thread, but when half the first page turns into your FS posts i think its just bad form. I guess one post wasnt good enough.

What we really need is another mod over here to help keep an eye on things.

the parts for sale have been moved to the classifieds forum.

i've left the ads for complete running 951's for sale, as they seem to be fewer and further between. :) thanks for the heads-up.

Thanks!

If it bugs you so much and its listed as an ad don't open the post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like the ads in the forums because they can be more appropriately placed according to what vehicle you have.

The point being made is that there is a place for everything on this BBS, there are sub-listings for 924/944/968, turbo and turbo s, and classifieds.

Technical forums are a place for those who are having problems or those who have solutions to problems to have a place to post where they can get or give information and assistance WIHTOUT having to dig through a bunch of "whatever".

Have something to post for sale? Simple, go to the upper right of the page, click the classifieds and post.

I don't like scrolling thru 968 parts or 944 parts to find 951 parts. Its all in the eyes of the beholder.

Not going to turn this into a childish argument, simply put forum/board rules state that parts for sale go on the for sale board, not on the technical boards....and we THANK YOU NIZE for putting them where they belong.

technically I could have used some of those things ;). I think 1 thread listing everything would have been cool, and then everyone could pm him. I never search classifieds. The way it was done was a bit excessive and bit annoying I agree

kdjones2000 06-26-2012 02:19 PM

Apparently it still is the classifieds..... :(

Guys, there is a section for WTB/FS posts......

968 GUY 06-26-2012 05:27 PM

Obviously not everyone reads through the threads, just throws anything out there.

nize 06-26-2012 05:50 PM

moved some more over to the appropriate forum.

Maybe if you start deleting them, offending posters will get the idea that FS/WTB ads need to be posted to that forum. :p
