Glacier metallic
Trying to find out how many glacier metallic 1989 944 Turbo's there are. LY5U color code. Only seem to be able to find 88 figures.

According the the Porsche Paint Manual, Supplement 2, LY5U (Glacier Metallic) was only offered in 1989, 90 and 91. NOT available in 1988.

I understand that, what I am trying to point out is that whatever source your getting your information from is in error. According to the Porsche Paint Manual (official publication of Porsche AG) that color was not offered in 1988.

I saw a post mentioning all the production numbers for special colors for 1988 vehicles. I am looking for the same info for 1989 colors. I didn't mean to infer that there were 1988 glacier metallic 944 Turbo's. Does such information exist?

Not really that I am aware of, all of the color breakdowns that I have seen are for either "special" cars like the 88 turbo "s" and limited production type cars. I imagine that someone would have to spend a lot of time combing through Porsche production records to get that information. I can't recall ever seeing a breakdown for regular production colors.
