if you have constnat hot air blowing try this

hot air out vents with the temperture set to cold ?
they are a few causes, most common the plastic clips holding rods in drivers footwell, bad neater control valve and... after checking all these it was the vacuum control valve located on the top of the drivers side fender, vacuumn line feeds from here to HCV on the 1987 944 turbo. Got the valve from lindsey racing just a few minutes to replace and stopped hot air..............
