Looking for longer wheel studs and front spacers

I have an '86 951 with early offset hubs and Boxster wheels.

My ChumpCar 924S runs 17" Boxster wheels and it gives me a great source
of used track tires (I've got no less than 6 sets with plenty of track life on them) -- however the 924S has late offset.

I found studs and spacers for the rears from a ChumpCar donor, so I was able to put on the 17" Boxster wheels on the rear.
The have a second set of spacers from another early model donor, however I think they too are for the rears and don't clear the center hub.

I'd like to know how long and what spacers to use for the fronts.
So spacer size, stud size and a good source would be most welcome.

thank you,

Mike

944 Wheels FAQ - Adding spacers to '86 944 and 951

Found this -- ordered up some 65mm studs -- will try modifying my spacers to clear hub (somehow?) and see how it works.

I was able to mill out the center part of the a set of rear spacers with a 3" (75mm) whole saw
on a drill press.

The whole saw fit nicely over the center area and this made a nice guide.
Liberal use of WD40 and a light touch and some patience. Made it through both
spacers in ~30 minutes.

spacers will be supported by studs, and not center cap. there's probably a 2mm gap there.

I'll snag some pix when my longer studs get here.

Hmmm, did you take out the centering ring in the middle? You only need to bevel the material beyond that ring on the inside of the spacer. Die-grinder/Dremel with metal-shaving bit takes about 5-minutes each side.
