1986 Porsche 944 Turbo LCD clock fix?

Replaced the bulb in my LCD clock and then shortly later the display no longer shows the clock numbers. (It is just lit up now). #$%^@*&! Anyone ever used this rebuild kit for the clock? 944 LCD replacement kit

If so is there soldering etc., to do? Basically how does the 'kit' get installed?

(Funny how a new clock costs $500. Might as well buy a Iphone and velcro it in the spot with a clock up on the display eh)? HAHAHAHA!

Anyone have a working used one for sale that is free of any bad scratches and or other damage? (saw a few on flebay).

Anyone rebuild these 951 LCD clocks?

Thks

Yes I have rebuilt several of the late 944 digital clocks led displays from this seller. Great guy I can sell you one redone and tested in like new condition for $95 shipped and would need a core in return.
Thanks pm if interested
