Any one have unmolested Escort Suspension?
I have just had some original Bilstein Escort suspension rebuilt by Bilstein Poway and painted them back to original Bilstein green, but was keen to get hold of the original Bilstein decals that were on the front strut. Bilstein don;t have any record of them, and the ones on mine were beyond deciphering. Fejjj recently had a set up for sale with what looked like pretty good decals on but had sold them before I asked him for close up pics. (Pic of his listing below). If anyone has any with a decent sticker that they could take a picture of I'll get some repro stickers made up.
PM me if you can supply an image for me to work from and/or would be interested in any decals when I get them made up. ![]() |

The original Escort cars came with Koni shocks in the US. The original factory Turbo Cup cars came with Bilsteins and had Porsche 951 part numbers stamped on them with no stickers (the two used sets I have came like this). Possibly the over the counter shocks came with the stickers?

Hi Vette951s ... many thanks for that background info. Can you confirm what the part numbers were and where they were stamped on the strut. Might be something under the paint. The set I have has the 951 numbers stamped on the rears but I've not found anything on the fronts.
