MegaSquirt3 Plug-And-Play
Standalone - maybe some new progress. I know a number of us Turbo guys are hunting for EMS systems for the 951. I spoke with a representative of DIYAutoTune regarding their plug-n-play EMS for the 944S and 944S2. The gentleman that I e-mailed claims that if there was interest a GROUP BUY, they could make MegaSquirt3 based EMS for the 944 Turbo. I think if we generate enough interest here and in the forums, we could pursuade the company into making a computer that works for us
out of the box. Matt Cramer is who I talked with. Anybody that would like to speak with him should contact him through DIYAutoTune's business website. I believe we should organize a group buy and generate enough interest that they build this thing. |

An e-mail from DIYAutoTune:
"As we don't currently have the connector but do have a potential source lined up, we would need 15 units in the group buy. Pricing would be $1199. Group buy participants would need to put down a $300 deposit to pre-order and get $100 off, so they would make one payment of $300 and one payment of $799. We will also need to borrow a test car that is in reasonably good shape and running on the stock ECU. We would anticipate having the MSPNP ready within 2-3 months after we get the deposits in and the test car arrives at our shop." |
