Vacuum leak!

Would you be more specific, it dies when you depress the clutch? When you let it out to engage the drive ? What is your boost gauge saying when the car is idling, what does it say when you push in the gas (as RPM climbs, but not in gear).

Massive vacuum leaks. Measure intake manifold vacuum at idle with warmed up engine. Possible sources:

- loose vacuum hose-clamps anywhere along intake from air-cleaner to head. Inspect every joint and every hose

- torn intercooler hoses. They are extremely thin and can split by tightening clamps too tight. Remove them and inspect

- remove compressor bypass valve and try blowing through it. Should not pass any air

- idle-stabilizer hoses can crack

- same thing with brake-booster hose

- check every port, hose and clamp that attaches to J-boot.

- remove J-boot and inspect, I've seen them break clean off where they attach to turbo
