Be careful of the drawing on Clark's Garage; it is ONLY for 86-87 and earlier models.

If you do those alarm bypass wiring jumpers on a later 944, you will BURN wires under the dash!

hmmm... did not know or notice if there was such a disclaimer on that procedure.

good think mine was an 86.

jumpered my alarm trying to sort out a no start. turned out to be the NEW coil failed.
