Help needed identifying a DME wire.... please!

Hi guys.

See the first pin (or last as I am not sure where the pin numbering starts) --- there is a yellow wire that is tapped in there. The wire doesn't connect to anything but, I am curious what the intent may have been.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

There should only be the green wire there and it goes to the coil. (From the '88 turbo wiring diagram)
Did the car have any aftermarket products installed that would need a coil input?

By the way, you can see the pin numbers on the connector. Most connectors are marked similarly helping in troubleshooting from the wiring diagrams.
