How to remove stuck reference sensors

Improvised Slide Hammer - 1
Stuck Reference Sensor - 0

Working on my 86 944 Turbo - the reference sensor connections crumbled in my hands.......... so new sensors it is.

Today was a good day!!! Been futzing with this for 2 weeks and today I was ready to cut out the bracket with a air-powered Sawzall. Lucky it didn't come to that.

Serious tool! I hope you didn't lose the figure 8 shim that goes under them. If you did, the sensor(s) will get chewed up by the flywheel teeth.
