88 Turbo S Plaid interior material
My drivers side seat is showing some wear and shredded a bit on the bolster. Anyone know where to source the plaid seat cloth found in the 88 Turbo S?

I have a door panel (passenger side) which was damaged in an accident. The back side panel and top edge are broken. If you think it would be enough material I might consider selling it. Actually I have a complete plaid interior as a spare for my silver rose and it's not for sale SORRY keeping it as backup.

i'm not so good at german, but they're selling the reproduction fabrics. I can't tell what the price is for the original plaid, but the black, white, red one is pretty nice.

@djbrand1, which one is it? The red or gray? Both are €129.00 / lfm, which I have not been able to find in my dictionary but I have a sneaking suspicion means per meter. Not sure of the width.

I sent an email via the website and they responded in pretty good english. It is roughly 200 per square meter, plus shipping of around 60 dollars for the burgandy plaid. Probably going to give it a try. Keep you posted.

Update. Got the fabric yesterday. Looks great. The pattern is spot on. The fabric looks to have a slightly blueish tint compared to the fabric in my interior. My car has only 41k miles on it and the interior is pretty close to excellent condition (minus the tear on the drivers side bolster, hence the new fabric). The new fabric also feels a bit more, wool-ish compared to whats in the car. I will post pics once I have some good sunlight outside with my decent camera.

Sorry, I keep forgetting to post the pictures, I'll set a reminder for myself. For an entire interior? That's a good question, the square meter I got could probably do an entire seat and maybe a door panel. Depends how good the upholstery shop is in minimizing "scrap" material.

I talked with my upholstery guy, and he said it would take about 4 meters to do the seats (front and rear) and door panels. Do you have the pictures of the finished seat yet?
At today's exchange rate, that would be about $412US plus shipping for enough to do the complete interior. Current price is 79 euros/lfm

This is the drivers seat that the left side bolster and bottom fabric were replaced.
 Another shot for owner pride!  With her track shoes on.
